A lot of leaks have been flying around purportedly of Specs and Photos of Samsung new yet to announced smartphone, the Galaxy S8. It is set to officially announced at the March 29 Unpacked and will become available for purchase on April 21.
It will come in two variants/sizes, the Samsung Galaxy S8 with a 5.8 screen and the S8 Plus with a 6.2 dual-curved Super AMOLED screen. The small S8 will have a 3,000 mAh battery, the bigger model 3,500 mAh. Under the hood of both phones will be either Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 or Samsung’s next Exynos.
RAM will still be the same as that on the Samsung Galaxy S7, 4GB, and the internal storage capacity will be 64Gb, expandable via a MicroSD card. It will sport a 12MP primary camera and an 8MP selfie camera. With no Home button to house the fingerprint sensor, it has been moved around back — as is standard on phones from many other manufacturers — but its placement next to the rear camera lens (as opposed to underneath) may prove to be problematic for some users.
The Samsung Galaxy will be running Android Nougat. The smaller Galaxy S8 will be priced at €799, while the bigger handset will go for €899.
